 PB about

The Privatization Barometer is the first Internet portal on privatization and its most recent evolution in Old and New Europe (first 10 accession countries are included).

The Project is currently funded by Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM), a non-profit, nonpartisan research institution established in 1989 and devoted to the study of sustainable development and global governance.

Objectives
To create a unique and independent source on privatization reporting comprehensive information on the historical process, and most recent and future trends.
To provide a focal point for an international audience of researchers, enterprises, analysts, consultants, international agencies, governments, policy-makers, and media.
To establish an open forum on privatization choices and consequences strongly based on research outputs.

PB is official provider of privatization data to OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) and the World Bank.
