DJ Aksa Elektrik Submits Highest Bid In Van Power Grid Tender-IHA

ISTANBUL (Dow Jones)--Turkish electricity generator and energy company Aksa Elektrik Perakende Satis AS has submitted the highest bid of $100.1 million in a tender to sell 100% of electricity distribution grid Van Elektrik Dagitim AS, the Ihlas News Agency, or IHA, reports.

Turkey's privatization agency OIB is holding a final tender Thursday for the privatization of four state-owned power distribution grids.

It will also hold tenders Thursday for Camlibel Elektrik Dagitim AS in the central Anatolian region, Firat Elektrik Dagitim AS in eastern Turkey and Uludag Elektrik Dagitim AS in the northwest.

OIB previously said it has received six bids for Van Elektrik Dagitim AS, which operates in the southeast of the country, eight bids for Camlibel Elektrik Dagitim AS, five bids for Firat Elektrik Dagitim AS and nine bids for Uludag Elektrik Dagitim AS.
