DJ Aksa Elektrik Submits Top Bid In Firat Power Grid Tender - IHA

ISTANBUL (Dow Jones)--Turkish electricity generator and energy company Aksa Elektrik Perakende Satis AS has submitted the highest bid of $230.25 million in a tender to sell 100% of electricity distribution grid Firat Elektrik Dagitim AS, the Ihlas News Agency, or IHA, reports.

Turkey's privatization agency OIB is holding a final tender Thursday for the privatization of four state-owned power distribution grids in the country.

Earlier Thursday, Aksa Elektrik also submitted the highest bid of $100.1 million in the tender for the electricity distribution grid Van Elektrik Dagitim AS, which operates in the southeast of the country.

OIB will also hold tenders Thursday for Camlibel Elektrik Dagitim AS in the central Anatolian region and Uludag Elektrik Dagitim AS in the north west of the country.

OIB previously said it has received six bids for Van Elektrik Dagitim AS, eight bids for Camlibel Elektrik Dagitim AS, five bids for Firat Elektrik Dagitim AS, which operates in the east of the country, and nine bids for Uludag Elektrik Dagitim AS.
