DJ Limak Insaat Submits Top Bid In Uludag Power Grid Tender

ISTANBUL (Dow Jones)--Turkish construction firm Limak Insaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. has submitted the highest bid of $940 million in a tender to sell 100% of electricity distribution grid Uludag Elektrik Dagitim AS, the Ihlas News Agency, or IHA, reports.

Turkey's privatization agency OIB held a final tender Thursday for the privatization of four state-owned power distribution grids in the country.

Turkish electricity generator and energy company Aksa Elektrik Perakende Satis AS earlier Thursday submitted the highest bid of $100.1 million in the tender for the Van Elektrik Dagitim AS electricity distribution grid, which operates in the southeast of the country.

Aksa Elektrik also submitted the highest bid of $230.25 million in the tender for the eastern Turkish Firat Elektrik Dagitim AS distribution grid.

Kolin Insaat submitted the highest bid of $258.5 million for the central Anatolian region's Camlibel Elektrik Dagitim AS.

OIB previously said it has received six bids for Van Elektrik Dagitim AS, eight bids for Camlibel Elektrik Dagitim AS, five bids for Firat Elektrik Dagitim AS and nine bids for Uludag Elektrik Dagitim AS, which operates in the northwest of the country.
